Ilya Navia Kovalevski is apart of the scouting legion, and is also in the medical field. Due to the small amount of medics in the military, Ilya serves as a very important individual in the scouting legion. When someone has been injured but not killed, it's normally put into Ilya's hands to aid them.. But, due to his medical knowledge, he works with Hanji most of the time, and helps with the research of titans. While titans and humans are very different, Ilya normally works with finding out the intelligence, behaviour, and learning abilities of titans, and tries to find out if they share certain types of intelligence with humans.

Ilya quickly turned to Chroma and opened his mouth to speak, but then Kostya came out and tackle hugged his lover. "I am~!"
Chroma laughed and kissed his cheek "Oh how I have missed you~"
"I've missed you too, so much~!" He nuzzled him a bit, but out of utter happiness.
